9/5/2023 0 Comments Mass effect 1 instanity cheat![]() Personally, I'm not a fan of the way the GPS plays (the charging mechanic is inconvenient for an aggressive playstyle, which I favor, and its advantage at range becomes largely irrelevant), and the Mattock encourages the boring wack-a-mole playstyle I described above far too much for my tastes, so I never end up using them much, but the Phalanx is a gem. ![]() All three weapons are good candidates for the best weapon in their class for ME2 (the Phalanx is more or less indisputable, the Mattock has some very so-so competition from the Revenant). I think it's worth getting if you have spare Bioware points and changing up your game is something that appeals to you. The Mattock is from the firepower pack, yes. You'll also have a lot more fun with that build. ![]() You'll die a lot, but you'll learn quickly, and the times when you don't die, you'll finish fights very quickly. The key is to use a lot of tactical pausing, and squadmates with stagger effects and defense stripping (Jack, Garrus and Miranda primarily), and play very aggressively. ![]() If not the Claymore, stick with the Eviscerator. I'd normally recommend the Claymore, but it may push things too far into "High risk-high reward" territory for you, I'd at least seriously consider it. Heavy shockwave, inferno ammo, squad cryo, champion spec. If you want a fun build that takes a bit of practice (and dying) to master, but is incredibly effective once you've gotten used to it, my recommendation is vanguard. You'll never really feel like you're kicking ass, the weaknesses of the AI will be gratingly apparent and even easy fights will be relatively slow. That should make things relatively "easy", but also boring. Get squad cryo ammo, inferno ammo and heavy disruptors. Focus on the mattock, use the Eviscerator or Widow when the situation calls for it, but mostly stay in cover, pop out with adrenaline rush (the offensive spec) and get as many headshots as you can with the Mattock, pop back in. If you want a low risk approach where you don't risk dying without high skill requirements, I'd probably recommend a generic Soldier spec.
